Simlish ASMR is something I didn't know I needed until now
I'm not much of an ASMR devotee—the intensified whispering and various mouth noises give me the heebie-jeebies—but I leave 100% make an exclusion for Simlish ASMR.
YouTuber Gibi ASMR has kinda impressively managed to do an full 17-minute video exclusively in The Sims' made-up spoken language, whole with a Simlish G-Fuel sponsorship. In typical ASMR fashion, the entire TV is effect around an imaginary scenario, with Gibi fetching on the role of a Sim conducting a final interview.
According to the video verbal description, Gibi same she thought information technology "would be hilarious to make a really 'serious' construct, AKA, the final examination round of a selfsame important interview, and turn it into the Goofy Sims manner… kind of like when you're nervous in a high-pressure situation and it's like they aren't tongued a language you recognize."
There's a lot to unpack in the video. At one point, Gibi presents a notebook computer with various icons from the game, like different emotional traits so icons which I'm pretty trusty imply that this job is going to literally puzzle out me to death. Almost immediately after she sticks a colander on my channelize, Strangerville style, before ligature Maine high. I'm not sure why, but I am bad certain I don't want this job any longer.
Gibi briefly mentioned how she went about stringing the dialogue together, locution she "went into The Sims and dictated a bunch of row" that she could try Sims locution. Considering thither's no current structure or straight translation when it comes to Simlish, being able to strand together almost 20 minutes of presumptive-sounding gibberish is a right feat.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's not the first ASMR Simlish picture to deck the internet—fellow ASMR YouTuber HaleyJean did a Simlish makeup video rearward in 2019—simply Gibi manages to perfectly nail it. It's worth watching just for the G-Fuel sponsorship unaccompanied, which is the only time I've of all time considered buying the Energy drink.
